Not everyone handles meeting an alien with such little fanfare, but then, not everyone was raised by Batman. Rick watches him for a moment, perhaps trying to quantify if he thinks the handshake felt different. Or still just boggling at Bruce having anyone over, apparently unsupervised, in the manor.

He starts to say something, then stops. Smiles a little, but it seems sad. Tries again.

"Seemed overdue. But I probably won't stay long. Busy with work, and all."
